On January 23, the new postal rates will come into effect. USPS has updated postage rates for most of the common mailing services including EDDM.

Below is a summary and a chart detailing the new rates for the primary categories that affect our clients. The new rates include a three-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp from 60 cents to 63 cents. There will be no change to the single-piece letter and flat additional-ounce price, which remains at 24 cents.

First Class Mail Flats/Large Envelope rates will now cost $1.26 (1 oz.).
Postcard rates are also increasing and will now cost $0.48, for postcards up to 6” x 9”.
Metered Mail rate will still save 3 cents compared to the Post Office price and is now at $0.60.

A 1-ounce letter mailed to another country would increase to $1.45.
